Medical Assistant

Description: Maine Medical Partners is at the momment seeking for Medical Assistant right now, this job will be placed in Maine. More details about this job opportunity kindly read the description below. Opportunity to join our team and provide medical assistance to physicians, nurse practitioners and patients. Responsibilities will include rooming patients, exam preparation, phones, scheduling patients and documenting in t! he electronic medical record.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of and Certification from an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current BLS
- Previous medical office or hospital experience helpful
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, physicians, supervisors and other staff.
- Ability to project a pleasant and professional image even under stressful situations.
- Knowledge of healthcare field and medical office protocols/procedures
- Proficient computer skills with electronic medical records experience helpful
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Monday - Friday 8 AM -5 PM
