Maine Mental Health Partners, Southern Maine’s premier integrated psychiatric network, is currently accepting applications for a full time Registered Nurse to join our Children’s Unit. The RN role is responsible for evaluating patients on m! ultiple fronts, biophysical, psychosocial, educational, and discharge planning. The RN participates in the formulation of a priority based multidisciplinary treatment plan unique to each patient, instructs patients regarding the disease process and medication management, and facilitates patient education groups. The RN delegates and directs staff in maintaining a structured and safe therapeutic milieu.
Qualified candidates must be licensed as an RN in the state of Maine. 1 â€" 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse. Experience working in mental health, with patients with dual diagnosis, in an inpatient setting is desired.
