The Requirements
To be a good fit for the Sr. Business Analyst opportunity, you will have:

8+ years of requisite business analysis experience

Considerable project management experience, preferably including a time spent working in Medicaid, Medicare, or a related healthcare sector.

A bachelor's degree with an emphasis in business operations, project management and/or healthcare, or equivalent work experience.

SME level Microsoft Project knowledge, preferably 2010.

Knowledge of various support tools (Risk Radar, RQMS, CQTM) and Microsoft Office.

The ability to resolve/escalate issues in a timely manner.

Strong analytical ski! lls.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

The ability to abide by Molina’s policies, to maintain attendance to support the required quality and quantity of work, and to maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

An ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.

Preferred but not required:
A master's degree in Engineering or a technical discipline, or an MBA.

PMP certification.

Experience managing healthcare implementations.

Broad knowledge of HCM or similar domain product/systems.

The Role
Reporting to the Proposal Manager in Augusta, as Project Manager you will serve as the critical focal point for the customer, managing and controlling various aspects of the project and processes to ensure a timely, efficient, and successf! ul implementation. You will manage and track new initiatives, change re! quests and mandates by working cross-functionally and ensuring everyone involved in each project stays on the same page throughout every stage.

You will lead multiple projects simultaneously. The majority will be trouble or change requests, which are generally short in duration, These projects can last a day or two or up to a month, and you'll manage many every month. While your role will center on these short-term projects, you could also be involved in larger initiatives that could last six months to two years. It will be your role to work with and coordinate various cross-functional project teams that could include developers, SMEs for key solutions areas, configuration analysts, and business analysts. In other words it will be your role to effectively work between business and technical areas to achieve project goals and objectives.

More specifically, you will:
Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing ! needs and requirements.

Identify resources needed and recommend assignments based on workload and availability.

Prepare for (assist Molina management) and facilitate various meetings (Risk Committee, Work Plan Review, Change Control Board, Status); conduct appropriate follow-up based on meetings.

Prepare project schedules, reports and budgets; track and monitor all deliverables.

Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project; effectively communicate relevant project information to Molina management and client; anticipate problems/situations that could impact project goals.

Work with the project controller, monitor project performance (actual vs. planned) to ensure schedule and budget goals are met or exceeded.

Provide leadership guidance and direction to personnel to ensure proper, timely completion of work. Provide personnel with timely, constructive, and actionable feedback that increases individual and team effe! ctiveness.

Collect, input and prepare weekly and monthly statu! s reports as required; explain deviations from plan. Prepare and support management reviews and QARs.

Work with the project controller, determine appropriate revenue recognition and ensure timely invoicing.

Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.

Develop lasting relationships with client personnel that foster client ties.

Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

There is always plenty going on, so you'll need to be able keep a lot of balls in the air without dropping any. You'll also need to remain adaptable as Molina grows, and as the Medicaid / Medicare environment evolves.
