Description: The Aroostook Medical Center is at present looking to employ MANAGER, CRITICAL CARE SERVICES right now, this occupation will be placed in Maine. For complete informations about this occupation opportunity please read the description below. Seeking a manager for the TAMC Critical Care Transport Service and Special Care Unit. This position will be responsible for the day to day operation! of the Special Care Unit, Telemetry Overflow Unit, and Critical Care Transport Service. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years progressive, contemporary nursing management experience. We are seeking an individual familiar with Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport System self- study and accreditation processes. Experience and proven ability with policy development, performance improvement, quality audits, team building, culture change, competency assessment, and Joint Commision standards. Advanced certification in critical care transport and a professional nursing license is required.
Candidate will be expected to assist with clinical duties.
EMS Licensure at the Paramedic with Maine EMS PIFT certification and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
