Primary Responsibilities
Completes MaineGeneral’s online pre-placement application and submits required documentation. Displays MaineGeneral badge or other approved form of ID while present at MaineGeneral. Adheres to Maine General’s Values & Standards and core behaviors. (see below) Strictly ma! intains and safeguards confidential information. Adheres to Ma! ine General’s work hours, policies and procedures. Relates and applies knowledge acquired in the academic setting to his/ her work environment at MaineGeneral. Displays a self-awareness in regard to attitude, values, and behaviors that influences his/her work. Is consistent and punctual in assignments to the supervising provider. Demonstrates understanding of patient centered care and customer service. Seeks and accepts feedback on knowledge, skills, and professional development.
Educational Requirements Must be enrolled in an educational facility that has a current clinical affiliation agreement with MaineGeneral. Must be a current medical student in good standing.
