Assists the director of Nursing Services in planning, organizing, and developing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Department in accorda! nce with current Federal, State, and local standard, guidlines and regulations that govern the facility. Ensures that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Assumes the duties of the Director of Nursing in his/her absence as directed.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN preferred. Holds a current registered nurse license in the State of Maine. Two years management/leadership in addition to long term care experience is preferred. Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills required. MDS and skilled care experience preferred.
