This is an over hire position expected to be in place for a limited period of time to allow on-the-job-training. Hired candidates are expected to apply for regular open positions on the unit! as they become available.
Provide age appropriate Nursing care to cardiac telemetry med-surg patients. All EMMC nurses participate in activities that promote self and staff development as well as the development of unit specific strategic goals. Current Maine RN license or eligibility to obtain Maine RN license required. ACLS required or must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Must be adaptable in a fast paced, changing environment, possess exemplary customer service skills, and demonstrate consistent use of EMMC’s caring behaviors
