Description: CompHealth is employing Hospitalist Physician - Permanent: Hospitalist for Central Maine near Bangor has Loan Repay right now, this occupation will be placed in Maine. We are seeking a hospitalist â€" IM or FP. * 7 days on/7 off block schedule * We a! re a CAH, 25 bed capacity, half of the patients are swing bed pts. * Average census 18. * We have 24/7 ED docs. * We do have deliveries â€" 100 per year so an FP would be participating in newborn stabilization. * We have an ICU with tele ICU to a major tertiary care hospital. We expect medical mgt capability of ICU patients. Skills: Central line placement, thoracentesis, ACLS and PALS certified at least Critical Access hospital (of the 39 hospitals in Maine, 19 are critical access) with limited specialty backup available (GS, OB, ENT and ORS) Terrific nursing staff with EMT background. Trauma ships to Eastern Maine Medical Center,
7 on 7 off Block Schedule
Can travel during your 7 off if desired
