The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team responsible for delivering direct and indirect care utilizing the nursing process a! ccording to the standards of the American Nurses Association (ANA). The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing health status, developing and executing interventions collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team and evaluating patient responses to interventions.
The Registered Nurse delegates those interventions which may be performed by others, supervises as appropriate and provides education to patients, families and healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing.
Two years oncology nursing experience preferred. C
urrent RN license within the state of practice.
Current BCLS Certification.
OCN preferred. If not OCN, required within 2 years of hire.
ONS Chemo/biotherapy certification preferred. If not, required within 6 months of hire.
Skills: Basic computer knowledge

OCN preferred; if not OCN will obtain within 2 yea! rs of hire.
Must be able to manage multiple prioritie! s.
Must be competent in the care & maintainence of CVADs
