The College is seeking adjunct faculty to teach college-level humanities courses including College Writing and Introduction to Literature. The Adjunct Faculty has responsibility to! ensure that course objectives are met through provisions of assigned lecture content and student interaction.
Faculty are members of the Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professionals Team and as such serve as resources to students and staff providing expertise in educational endeavors.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred.
Documentation of education appropriate to material being taught, from an accredited university or college is required.
Teaching experience in post-secondary education is preferred. The instructor must be able to work days and evenings. Faculty responsibilities include supervising/teaching students during their planned teaching/learning experiences in the classroom, and online as appropriate. It is expected that they possess knowledge and demonstrate expertise in the teaching/learning process. Competency in the assigned area of teaching is mandatory.
