The Director of Physician Practices will demonstrate the knowledge, responsibility and accountability for oversight of multiple Physician Practices! . The director is responsible for strategic planning, budget preparation and execution as well as provides liaison services to the Medical staff, nursing staff, and other hospital staff. The successful candidate will also function as a change agent and consultant who collaborate with other department leaders and care givers to continually refine the patient care delivery process to achieve financial, quality and customer satisfaction goals.
Education/Experience Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree required
- Five years of supervisory experience in a physician office practice or hospital setting with progressive leadership required.
- Excellent understanding of Physician Practices in both the inpatient and outpatient setting
- Leadership skills are essential.
- Demonstrated skills in making decisions with independent judgment
- Ability to work effectively with a variety of board, managerial and professional personnel
- Must be able to work comfortably with physicians and ! physician groups
1) Supervision: Develops and maintains a work environment that fosters employee participation, recognition and respect, such that quality services are provided by a competent and committed staff.
2) Planning & Fiscal Management Plans: Organizes and monitors departmental programs and services consistent with the goals and objectives of EMMC and the Division of Physician Practices.
3) Performance Improvement: Related to the areas of responsibility develops a performance improvement plan, implements and maintains relevant performance improvement initiatives consistent with EMMC, regulatory, and governmental requirements.
4) Physician Liaison Activities: Works collaboratively with Medical Staff and Hospital Leadership to achieve mutual goals for Physician Practices assigned.
5) Outcome Management: Responsible for initiating and implem! enting improvements in clinical and cost outcomes.

6) Team Leader: Provides guidance and support to multidisciplinary patient care teams to coordinate and manage care across the continuum.
