Shift/Schedule:
Fulltime 12 hr. day and night shifts available
Great opportunity at a fast-paced, high visibility acute care facility located Washington County. There is a bounty of fresh water lakes, beaches, and historical sites predating the Revolutionary War, shops, galleries and restaurants. If you enjoy the outdoors, you can hike, swim, golf, go fishing, hunting, cross country ski and snowmobile. One of The University of Maine campuses is located here and offers many cultural programs as well as art galleries. Each year in August the town holds its Blueberry Festival which provides a great time with food, entertainment and local crafts. Great salary and benefits package and relo assistance available.
Facility Description:
This is a 25 bed critical access hospital, 6 bed ER Department, 3:1 patient ratio.
Qualified candidates must have prior ER experience, 5 years preferred.
Specific Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred
- Current Sta! te of Maine RN license
- Current BCLS required,
Current TNCC, NRP, PALS, CEN preferred - ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of employment
- Ability to provide age appropriate care and function independently
- Ability to act rapidly and efficiently in emergency situations
