Description: MaineGeneral Health is in need of Mental Health Nurse I ACT Team right now, this job will be placed in Maine. To provide psychiatric nursing, community support and case management services to mental health clients with severe and persistent mental illness. To function as part of a multidisciplinary, comp! rehensive mental health team in providing mental health services in the clients homes or environments. Employees assigned to this position will be required to provide clinical on-call coverage on a routine, rotating basis.
Qualifications/Competencies :
Must hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license recognized by the Maine Board of Nursing Mental Health RNC strongly preferred Associates degree in Nursing Minimum of 3 years pertinent Behavioral Health RN experience required Knowledge and skill to work with people with severe and persistent mental illness and substance abuse issues Ability to develop relationships with people who may be difficult to engage Ability to work collaboratively in a team approach and with other community service providers Valid Maine Driver’s license â€" must have a working vehicle
