Woodfords is seeking Psychiatrists and/or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to expand an existing and growing program. There are! opportunities to provide assessment and medication management services to children, adolescents and adults. Hours are flexible and the environment is friendly.
Woodfords serves individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities, as well as Mental Health Issues. This is a comprehensive service center with support from a registered nurse, case management, home-based and outpatient counseling, adult residential and shared living waiver services, treatment foster care and in-home support services.
The agency supports clinical rounds and case review to promote an integrated service approach.
There may be opportunities to assist with a pilot of a Behavioral Health Home for Adults with Co-Occurring Developmental and Mental Health Issues. On-call hours are required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Job Requirements:
Psychiatrist: A Maine license to practice medicine, graduation from an accredited program, completion of required internship! s and residency, DEA certification, and certificate of complet! ion from an accredited psychiatric residency training program or from a child psychiatry fellowship program.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner: Maine license as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, DEA certification and an MS degree in nursing.
