Sweetser has an Immediate need for a Advance Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our team in the Brunswick, Maine office. The individual will provide ass! essment, medication management, and treatment of adults and adolescents. The NP provides psychiatric evaluations and ongoing psychiatric medication management for patients for primarily adults and adolescents. The NP generally works as a member of an internal and/or external multi-disciplinary team and is expected to foster clinically indicated collaboration with other members of the integrated care team.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm ( 40 hours per week)

Education Requirements

Maine NP License is required and must be maintained by the applicant throughout employment.
Valid DEA certification
Hold a valid state driver's license at the time of hire. General Requirements

A minimum of two years of clinical experience (can include practice and internship/residency) in an outpatient, residential or crisis setting, is preferred.
Responsible for the provision of high quality psychiatric services (medication management)! in the community.
Promote the success of the program by p! romoting positive customer relations, quality care, appropriate billing procedures, and maintaining a schedule of clients.
Ensure that documentation meets the standards of Sweetser, the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and MaineCare.
Comply with the rules and regulations of your professional licensing board, Department of Behavioral & Developmental Services and MaineCare.
Other duties as deemed necessary and appropriate by your Medical Supervisor. Benefits
